Exporting the drawing
PDF, DXF and KMZ export on each canvas, and how the designer's inputs and both drawings save into the .slb project.
Each canvas — Plant Layout and Single Line Diagram — carries its own set of export buttons, pinned and always visible on its toolbar: ⤓ PDF, ⤓ DXF and ⤓ KMZ.
What each export produces

A ⤓ KMZ export needs a valid Latitude and Longitude first; without them it warns instead of exporting.
The suggested file name — and the title printed on the PDF — is BESS Single Line Diagram for the Single Line Diagram canvas, or BESS Plant Layout for the Plant Layout canvas. The save dialog itself carries no caption of its own; it shows the operating system's own default Save-As caption.
Saved into the .slb project
The designer's inputs and both drawings — Plant Layout and Single Line Diagram — travel with the main Save Project (.slb)… and Open Project (.slb)… actions, independent of any Simulate or Optimise result.
- Closing the designer window captures the current input-form values and both drawings.
- Save Project (.slb)… captures that same snapshot again and stores it in the project file.
- Open Project (.slb)… restores it — into the designer immediately if it's already open, or the next time the designer is opened otherwise.
